Senior Technical Advisor, Community Outreach and Advocacy, Women Empowerment Program titled “Muslim Women’s Initiative” in Karnataka, Rajasthan and Delhi (May 1, 2004, to March 31, 2011) with IFES (International Foundation for Electoral Systems). This program has been selected as one of the 9 successful case studies across the globe under the category of inclusion of minorities into the democratic system by IDEA (International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance) based in Stockholm. Research Paper on this program was presented at XXII World Congress of International Political Science Association in July 2012 in Madrid.
As Program Head my responsibilities were:
- Project Design
- Designing project hypothesis, strategies, components and anticipated results of the program along with preparing a list of foresee challenges and corrective steps to be taken
- Management
- Providing managerial support in Planning, Monitoring, Documentation, Supervision operationalisation and mid course corrections, capacity building, of the project being implemented by the partner NGOs including financial aspects and budgets

As Gender Specialist my responsibilities included and accomplishments:
- Reviewed organisation policy and programs/projects from gender perspective and recommended inputs for gender equity and mainstreaming
- Designed Gender Equity Policy-Reference and Guide Booklet for the organisation
- Developed and disseminated knowledge material on women’s issues and gender issues among staff members through Gender Discourse E-Forum
